Ok so you may, or may not know the deal with this one, but essentially I'm hoping that people will take a crack at "remixing" or reworking this piece. Add colours, add shapes, add words, take things away, whatever you think will make it look cool.

I've provided an Illustrator file (.ai) that has every individual aspect separated into different layers that are also named appropriately.

The most original and compelling remixes will feature in a magazine/artbook I'm making for a university project (with due credit given to each artist) that will be displayed in an exhibition for everyone on campus to view. So in a nutshell, there's no real "prize" for this contest, but surely exposure, and that warm fuzzy feeling you get from contributing to an artistic community that's in a form other than spamming Llama Badges will be appealing to some.

I'll need any submissions by the 25th of April which gives people a little over two weeks to create something. I apologise for the restrictive time-frame but I need them by then in order to have everything ready for my assignment's submission date. Feel free to try remix it after this date however if you feel so inclined.

I'd love for this whole thing not to fail in a very embarrassing way, so even if you think you aren't "good enough" or can't think of anything to do with it, give it a shot regardless, you may surprise yourself.

Post any attempts in the comments section or hit me up with a note with a link to the work. Looking forward to seeing what people come up with.

Should I send you the 300DPI version? Also what size would you like the image? A4?

Yeah 300dpi. A4 is fine it won't be A4 in the end but those dimensions are good. Is this the first one or the second attempt?
